A capsule collection of “wearable art”

05.05.2020

Inspired by the life and work of Vincent van Gogh comes the Daily Paper’s latest collaboration. In partnership with the Van Gogh Museum, the Amsterdams-based label has featured some of the iconic works of the talented artist on t-shirts, button-ups, jackets, and bottom pieces.

A total of 21 items in this collaboration are directly drawn from Van Gogh’s oil paintings, including the famous Irises taking the main theme. Less popular pieces such as The Potato Eaters or Wheatfield with a Reaper, Skull of a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette also play a huge part in the overall look of this collection. Considered as “wearable arts,” the whole collaboration is not only a tribute to Van Gogh but also a way to connect the young culture and timeless heritage values.
